Systems Coordinator

Job Overview
Provides technical support for all aspects of gift processing, database administration and maintenance, acknowledgement and receipting, mailing list management, and reporting for all fundraising efforts for the Development department of St. Joseph’s Health.
Qualifications
Work requires the level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of two or three years of occupationally-specific education beyond high school or an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science or closely related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred. One to two years of previous work related experience required. Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge fundraising software (or a similar software package). Excellent analytical, oral/written communication, problem solving and organizational skills is expected, as well as the ability to follow-up on multiple long and short term projects.

Grants Manager
Location: Paterson NJ
Shift: Regular, Full Time
Job Overview
Assists the Director, Corporate and Foundation Relations with private, corporate and government grant strategic planning, application, monitoring and reporting. Manages and supports a full range of development activities including: managing assigned funder portfolio, initiating and maintaining key donor and prospect relationships, and preparing other communications materials.
Qualifications
Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, or a closely related field. Three to five years of direct, relevant fundraising experience required with a focus on foundation and corporate giving preferred. Grant writing experience required. Understanding of basic accounting principles. Background in donor management systems/databases (preferably Blackbaud products) and prospect research tools. Highly proficient with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, social media platforms, email, and the internet. Enjoys working with volunteers and other front-line fundraisers, as well as autonomously. Requires analytical skills with the ability to exercise sound judgement, give attention to detail, and resolve problems. Must possess strong customer service, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Director, Individual Giving
Location: Paterson NJ

Job Overview
Responsible for the donor relations and philanthropic operations in regards to individual giving, which include Major Gift, Annual Giving, and Planned Giving donors and prospects. This includes, but is not limited to the strategic planning, promotion, budget, standards, organization and industry policies, compliance, and evaluations. Working closely with the Vice President, Chief Development Officer, this position manages a portfolio of Major Gift and Planned Gift donors and prospects. In addition, leads the identification and qualification of future potential Major Gift and Planned Giving prospects. Responsible for the promotion and expansion of the Seton Legacy Society. Oversees the Young Professionals Committee (YPC) of St. Joseph’s Health Foundation.
