Siddhraj Solanki, 76, passed away on April 18th and left behind a legacy which his family soon picked up on. Solanki always worked to make his community a better place, and his relatives could not think of a better way to honor his life than to help fight the pandemic.
Solanki’s grand-nephew, Devin, saw the desperate need for PPE across the nation during the peak of the pandemic and wanted to do his part. He and his family worked diligently to find a way to protect the healthcare providers who cared for his grand-uncle at St. Joseph’s Health. The family donated 2,000 FFP2 face masks to St. Joseph’s on May 11th, and wishes their story will inspire other families to do what they can during these unprecedented times.
